Janus Day Programme is abstinence based and runs 7 days a week. The programme includes group work, key work sessions, one to one and group therapy and complementary therapy.
The sessions run at different times throughout the week and allow clients the opportunity to structure their day around the interventions. Clients also receive an evening phone call each night to check in.
The programme is based on the Resonance Factor, a model developed by the partners that keeps the focus is on the relationship between the client and their drug of choice. Throughout the programme clients will be encouraged to identify and explore different aspects of this relationship for example cravings and triggers, justifications and reasons and the grieving process.
The counselling and therapy group allow individuals to explore underlying issues in an indepth manner in order to better understand the learned behaviour from the past and how this influences actions thoughts and behaviours in the present.
